Microsoft will Windows Mobile retten

UPDATE 25. Januar 2010:

Auf 1800PocketPC gabs ein paar Gerüchte zu WM 6.5 und WM 7:

Ein Kommentar im WWW sah so aus:
” Hate Windows Mobile 7. No apps from previous versions of WM working here. Not compatible at all. Couldnt do anything. Grrrr “

Antwort von 1800PocketPC:
UPDATE : ( Jan 18th )
Even if WM7 does not support legacy app , the WM6.5 line will certainly support them. Microsoft has made it clear they want WM6.5 and WM7 to coexist in the market. WM6.5 will target the low end market while WM7 ( it might end up being called something else ) will be aimed towards the premium market.
It actually makes sense too. WM6.5 will still run the legacy apps. WM7 will be a whole new ball game , might be compatible with Zune HD apps and games ( like iPhone / iPod ) and likely share the ZuneHD marketplace

EDIT Februar 2010:
